Regan Marklinger grew up surrounded by wood, trucks, and the trades.
His father ran his own logging outfit in the Cariboo, and while Regan didn’t take over the show, he carried the same love of heavy iron into his own life. Today, he works at a local copper mine, running everything from heavy-haul trucks to loaders and graders in a single shift.
Woodworking started as a way to follow in his dad’s footsteps — a few pieces built in the shop. More than 150 commissioned builds later, Wild West Wood Crafts has grown into a name recognized by logging companies, manufacturers, and the people who run the machines day in and day out.
The trucks and machines he carves aren’t just models — they’re built by someone who knows what it means to run the real thing.

Each build is made to scale and carefully matched to
the attributes of real makes and models, including Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, and Volvo tractors for both logging and highway use.
CUSTOM
Beyond trucks, Regan crafts loaders, excavators, lowbeds, skidders, butt-n-tops, processors, forwarders, and more, with countless configurations and truck-and-trailer combinations available.
The primary woods used are pine and fir for their softness and workability, accented with purple heart for striking, durable detail.

Commission Process
How to Order We start with an in-person, over the phone or by email discussion. Every piece is custom-built on commission. No two are the same. Pricing starts at $900 CAD and scales based on the machine, materials, and the level of detail. Contact Regan with your idea — make, model, or type of machine. Delivery/pick-up
Local delivery or pick-up is arranged, once complete. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of these items, we do not ship.
